Original development of e-Portfolio software (Version 1.0) by CC
Phase II
July 2002-July 2003 (“Pilot” phase).
Share of V1.0 software with participating schools; develop V2.0.
Phase III
July 2003-July 2004
Install V2.0 at participating schools; develop of V3.0.
Versions:
Version 1.0
Existing software, housed at CC, modified (as V1.0m)
to reflect participating school colors and logos (available Fall, 2002)
Version 2.0
A customizable, transportable version of the software (available Fall,
2003)
Version 3.0
A more generic version, capable of wide distribution (available Fall,
2004)
Our responsibilities:
- assemble an implementation team: one CDC person, one Dean, one IT person.
- prepare 2 documents:
- participate in a series of design and feedback meetings,
beginning in early Spring 2002.
- conduct research, prepare content, develop implementation strategy for one
area; e.g.:
student competency, assessment,
developmental content, advising models
- port software to Union, summer 2003. Server
may be provided by a grant, but may not be.
CC’s responsibilities:
- Apply for grant support
- Customize and host V1.0m during the 2002-03 academic year w/ technical support
- Provide participating institutions with V2.0 in summer 2003 w/ technical
support
CC retains the right to having its logo and copyright on each page; participating institutions will also get copyright notice on each page of V3.0.
