Schaffer Library a number of CD-ROM databases online.  One particularly useful database is Historical Statistics of the United States, 1790-1970, originally published by the Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census in 1976 for the Bicentennial, and recently released on CD-ROM.  For information on how to access this database, see instructions at the Library website.  [Note that these networked CDs are only available from within the Union network.]
