He has a BS degree in Structural Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. He has a dual MS degree in Civil Engineering & Operations Research, as well as a PhD degree, in Civil Engineering, from Pennsylvania State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, PE, in New York and Pennsylvania. He is also a LEED-AP [Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - Accredited Professional]
