Coverage
- The coverage of the Final Exam will be all
the material in chapters 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, AND
the material covered in class, AND all the articles that I
have e-mailed you. There are no short-cuts.
- Please see handouts [5], [6], [7] and [8] for details of
which sections/questions you may skip.
Question types (based on material covered in class,
in the textbook and in MyEconLab)
- There will be no multiple-choice questions.
- There will be some computational questions.
- There will be some questions involving short answers
and/or graphs.
Date, time, and place
- The Final Exam will take place on Tuesday, March
19, 2:30-4:430 PM, in our regular classroom.
What to bring
- Make sure to bring a basic calculator, ruler, and a
writing implement. Paper will be provided. There is NO
pencil-sharpener in the room. The use of a cell phone as a
calculator, or for any other purpose, will not be allowed.
Other matters
- This is a CLOSED-BOOK exam.
- I will give you handouts [6A], [6B], [7A], and [8A]. However, you need to know what
the notations stand for, what the concepts mean, etc.
- There will be NO EXTENSION
of the time period. Time management is part of the educational
process. All exams will be collected by the end of the
scheduled exam period. You may
leave earlier if you finish earlier.
- Answers to end-of-chapter questions are on reserve
at the Library.
