Please research the photographer Duane Michals to become familiar with his work.
There are books by and about him in the library and there us a great amount about him on the web.
the following will be due:           

Top 10 Lists – Love/Hate  [write out and bring to class] Bring to class two top 10 lists:

1. 10 things you LOVE the most
2. 10 things you HATE the most. 
3.  Top 3 project ideas.

Put them in descending [prioritized] order with the things you LOVE or HATE the most as #1on each list and so on through #10.  Write out the list and have it in class.     

      

Project idea for Final Project            [write out and bring to class]

Using your Top Ten Lists for inspiration, come up with a project idea for you final project.  Pick something that is accessible that you can easily return to at least 3 times to photograph – something you think you can make strong photographs of – something you feel strongly about. It can be something you LOVE,
                        OR something you HATE,
                        OR something you LOVE & HATE.           

Write a brief paragraph describing your project and why, where and when you can photograph your idea and bring it to class.  Also note two back-up project ideas and include them.
