Equipment For Shooting Self-portraits

1) Tripod- If you are in front of the camera, you can't hold it.

2) Cable release [locking], or air release- So you can work the shutter from a distance.

3) Self-timer- Further stabalization and eliminates the need for a cable/ air releaase.

4) Using a string to measure- Hold a string out in front of the camera to measure focal distance.

5) Sharpness - Depth of Field- Very important to keep in mind since you can't preview exposure.

6) Motion - Shutter speed- Be aware of when the shutter is open and closed.

7) LIGHT- NEVER NEGLECT LIGHT.

8) Location/environment- The background is just as important as the subject.

9) Props
