***SUNY Morrisville UNPLUGGED...the story on laptops and wireless***
OFFICIAL REGISTRATION PACKET (also available at www.morrisville.edu)
On Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7, SUNY Morrisville will host "SUNY
Morrisville UNPLUGGED...the story on laptops and wireless," a conference
designed to address the overwhelming interest expressed in the college's
pioneer laptop and wireless programs.
The conference will feature vendor displays and three different tracks, one
each for administrators, faculty and technical staff. It is an opportunity
to learn from faculty and staff at SUNY Morrisville about how the
integration of laptop and wireless technology on the campus has changed the
way they work, teach and learn.
The conference will be held on the SUNY Morrisville campus. To get the most
out of the conference, we encourage you to bring a team of people to the
conference to participate in each of the tracks. There is a limited number
of spaces available and all campuses are urged to limit the number of
attendees to five.
A registration fee of $75 per person will be charged if registration is
received by March 23. After that date, the fee is $100 per person; this
includes all conference seminars, breaks and meals.
Registration will be accepted by mail, fax, phone, e-mail or online.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
SUNY Advanced Learning and Information Services (ALIS) is offering a
scholarship to SUNY participants. For every SUNY campus sending a team of
three or more to the conference, SUNY ALIS will provide a scholarship to
register one person from the campus team.
