Please attach the following documents to your application:
Proposal: Submit up to one page detailing the nature and significance of your project. Be sure to specify how your project furthers the goal of the Mellon grant; using technology to enhance the interdisciplinary nature of the FP course. Include a description of what you will provide that others can use in teaching their sections of Preceptorial. Also indicate the time frame in which you will carry out your project. |
Budget: Include a proposed budget. The Mellon Grant allows for proposals to be funded at up to $5000 per project, although exceptions will be considered for particularly ambitious projects or projects involving teams of three or more individuals. Limited additional funding is available for audio-visual-computer technical support. Applicants planning to do their work over the summer should consider applying for a summer student intern. If the project requires new equipment or software consider jointly applying to IEF. |
Joint
applications are encouraged.
Applicants are
encouraged to discuss their ideas with Kesheng Yu, Unions Curricular Design
Specialist. Her web site is: http://www.union.edu/RESOURCES/curriculum/
