Final 2025 Exam Information:

Final Exam:    Monday, June 9, 2025 from 8:30am - 10:30am in Wold 128

The final exam will have 5 problems worth 30 points each. The final exam will be out of 150 points total.

Each individual problem will have five (5) worked parts (@ 6 points each) for a total of 30 points per problem.

Topics on the final exam by problem.  In each problem below the following topics will be covered.

1. Conservation of energy, collisions & conservation of momentum, forces, circular motion, motion in 2D and the equations of motion.

2. Conservation of energy, work, work-kinetic energy theorem, forces and changes in motion (accelerations), and circular motion   .

3. Motion in 1D, the equations of motion for translation and rotation, forces and torques (dynamics).

4. Rotational and translational statics, conservation of energy, rotational and translational quantities of motion.

5. Fluids, fluids at rest, fluid flow, pressure, conservation of energy, motion in 1D & 2D and the equations of motion.
