The final exam will have 5 problems worth 30 points each. The final exam will be out of 150 points total.

Each individual problem will have five (5) worked parts (@ 6 points each) for a total of 30 points per problem.

1. Conservation of energy, collisions & conservation of momentum, forces, circular motion, motion in 2D and the equations of motion.

Final Exam 2020 Information:

Final Exam:   Monday, November 23, 2020 from 8:30am - 10:30pm   

The final exam will be given in two ways.  Either 1.  by zoom or 2. in person.  If you would like to take the exam in person, please email me before Friday, November 20, 2020 at 12:00pm.  More information will be posted on Nexus about the exam delivery and times. 

If you want to take the exam over zoom, you must be logged into zoom by 8:25am EST (7:25EST if you have academic accommodations) with the ID and password found on Nexus. You and your exam must be visible( i.e. more than just the upper half of your face) on camera for the whole exam and must mute your microphone. You and your exam paper should be visible in the screen for the duration of the exam. If you have questions during the exam, please use the private chat feature. The exam will be available for download between 8:25am and 8:30am EST (or 7:25am - 7:30am for academic accommodations) on Nexus.

Final Exam Information: UPDATED 6/4/20

Final Exam: Wednesday, June 10, 2020 between 7:00am EST and 12:00pm EST.    

The exam will be available from 7:00am EST until 12:00pm EST. You will have 2 hours (3 if you qualify for academic accommodations) to download and complete the final exam. The exam will be posted on Nexus and when you open the exam link the timer starts.  Do not open the link until you are ready to start the exam.  The exam is closed notes, book, and you cannot use the internet.  You may use the equation sheet that comes with the exam only.    When you are finished with the final exam, you will have up to 15 minutes to scan and upload your answers as a single pdf file labeled as lastname_FE.pdf. There are no extensions or restarts on the exam and this is the only time the exam will be available.
